The biggest challenge for the transportation industry is the emission of greenhouse gases resulting from the use of fossil fuels. Therefore, as a medium-sized international company, we aim to take responsibility in the green transition in close collaboration with our customers and other partners.
We will achieve this through optimizing our operations, consciously selecting responsible partners, and using greener fuel types to the greatest extent possible, such as biodiesel.
Our largest CO2 emissions undoubtedly come from fossil fuels. Therefore, we are focused on several parameters to reduce our CO2 emissions. Over the years, we have been replacing our trucks, and today we exclusively use EUR 6 trucks equipped with the most modern and efficient engines.
Furthermore, through our Masterdriver concept, we have selected and trained climate ambassadors in all our driver groups. They continuously and effectively assist and motivate all colleagues to reduce their fuel consumption, thus reducing CO2 emissions.
Additionally, we continuously work on route optimization and weight optimization. Combined with the continuous introduction of new and weight-optimized equipment, this creates efficient transport solutions and helps move larger quantities of goods with the fewest possible vehicles, contributing to further CO2 reduction.
Although our largest CO2 emissions come from fossil fuels, we are also working on reducing emissions in other areas. For example, we have chosen to purchase green electricity and reduce our electricity consumption by replacing all light sources with LEDs In addition, recycled water is used for several processes in our washing facility, and we reuse a significant portion of the heat from the washing processes during internal tank cleaning.
We constantly strive to improve and optimize our operations while closely following the technological developments in the industry. When the technology becomes sufficiently efficient and competitive, and the necessary infrastructure is in place, we are ready to invest in the most optimal equipment and sensible solutions to meet our customers' needs and demands. Whether it is electric, hydrogen-based trucks, or other alternatives, time will tell.
However, we have already defined the following goals for 2030:
- Reduce our scope 1+2 CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030.
- Reduce our scope 3 CO2 emissions by 25% by 2030.
We consider it essential that this development occurs in close collaboration with our customers, suppliers, and other partners.

As a freight forwarder trainee, I have been allowed to work very independently and with great responsibility from the very beginning of my traineeship.
My experienced colleagues provide me with good training and lots of support.
I find the job as a freight forwarding trainee both varied and exciting, as no two days are the same. You will also quickly see the results of your work.
I am challenged daily by customers to find the most optimal transport solutions for them. I find that exciting.
In addition to the many coordinating tasks, you will also learn a lot about the rules to be respected in different countries and become proficient in geography.
