Dantra A/S celebrated its 100th anniversary in good company

For Dantra, it was of course important to mark the great milestone, so despite the corona situation, and with prior thorough guidance of guests and staff, we had 2 days with well-prepared guests and employees and a lot of good experiences.

Friday 11/9 we celebrated with almost 200 customers, suppliers, partners and friends of the house at our reception in Hjøllund. Dantra's Chairman of the Board Orla Madsen, Member of Parliament Kristian Phil Lorentzen, Industry Director Michael Svane and Peter Jepsen, Business Policy Director, Danske Fragtmænd and Chairman of ATL's Board, stood at the podium with exciting anecdotes and praise for the jubilee. We unveiled 2 beautiful works of Dantra's history told in pictures and writing.

On this occasion, Director Kenneth Jensen presented a nice gift check of DKK 100,000 to Danske Hospitalsklovne, which was received by Director Kenneth Øhrberg and the clown Filop.

Saturday d. On 12/9, almost 150 employees and family members celebrated, also in Hjøllund, with good food, music, plenty of Okkels ice cream and an interesting lecture by Thomas Rathsack, author and former soldier in the Jägerkorpset. It was also possible to get behind the wheel of a truck simulator provided by the TU-Transporten Development Fund.

At the end of the day, Kenneth Jensen was presented with a 3-ton gift from his employees, a gift that will probably still be standing in 100 years.

At Dantra, we are happy and grateful that so many people have taken the time to take part in the celebration, thank you to all those who have helped to make it a fantastic few days.

As a freight forwarder trainee, I have been allowed to work very independently and with great responsibility from the very beginning of my traineeship.

My experienced colleagues provide me with good training and lots of support.

I find the job as a freight forwarding trainee both varied and exciting, as no two days are the same. You will also quickly see the results of your work.

I am challenged daily by customers to find the most optimal transport solutions for them. I find that exciting.

In addition to the many coordinating tasks, you will also learn a lot about the rules to be respected in different countries and become proficient in geography.
